Community Forum Will Address Substance Abuse

Hope for Tomorrow

The “Substance Abuse Is Devastating Our Children” community forum will begin at 6:30 pm Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at Leonardtown High School at 23995 Point Lookout Road in Leonardtown. The event is being presented by the Narcotics Overdose Prevention Education Task Force, and is supported by Walden Behavioral Health and MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital.

Opioid Learning Series Continues in March

Walden Behavioral Health has canceled its annual fundraiser scheduled for Friday, Sept. 29. Walden is urging supporters to support either the official charities set up to support hurricane recovery efforts or to support local homelessness through Three Oaks Center in Lexington Park.
