ERAU Conducting Survey on STEM Involvement & Aviation
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University needs participants for a study examining STEM experiences on aviation recruitment and retention. At least 50 more responders are needed for results to be statistically valid. The Patuxent Partnership is spreading the word about the survey.

Townsend Is Outstanding Young Scientist Award Winner

SMR Celebrates Flight Academy Opening
An endowment from The Patuxent Partnership has enabled St. Mary’s Ryken High School in Leonardtown to open a STEM lab flight program. TPP board members joined faculty and staff of the school to celebrate the opening May 3.

STEM-ING Inspires the Next Generation
STEM-ING 2022 will offer Southern Maryland middle school girls a variety of workshops focused on STEM and an opportunity to interact with women in STEM careers. The event will be held from 8:30 am to 4 pm May 21 at St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
