Citizens Invited to Submit Legislative Proposals
The St. Mary’s County commissioners will hold a meeting with members of the St. Mary’s County legislative delegation at 6 pm Tuesday, Dec. 5, in the commissioners meeting room at the Chesapeake Building at 41770 Baldridge St. in Leonardtown.
Students Lobby Legislators on Education Issues
College of Southern Maryland students traveled to Annapolis on Feb. 8 to meet with their state legislators. The visit to the state capital was part of Student Advocacy Day, an annual event sponsored by the Maryland Association of Community Colleges.
