Christmas in April Gets Boost From SMECO
Christmas in April organizations in Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s counties got a boost recent from Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative and CoBank. SMECO received a $4,500 contribution from CoBank to pass on to the non-profit organization.

Each time Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative announces a training class for apprentice linemen, hundreds of applications come in. College Scholarships Awarded by SMECO
Four high school seniors have been awarded scholarships by Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative. Every year, the co-op awards four college scholarships to students who live in its service area.
