Rid Your Home of Dangerous Toxins

Check your shed, garage, basement and area under the kitchen sink to properly discard toxic items that should never be dumped into our landfills.

Experts at the St. Andrew’s Landfill will be available to take your materials during the Fall Hazardous Waste Collection day Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013. The event takes place between 8 am and 4:30 pm.

Items accepted are acids, ammonia, bleach, cleaners, fuel, gasoline, pesticides, paint, pool chemicals, and wood preservatives, amongst others. The experts will be able to help you.

Items not accepted are ammunition, asbestos, explosive materials, medical waste, pharmaceuticals, and piric acid.
