The US and the Taliban have signed a peace agreement aimed at ending the 18-year war in Afghanistan. If the Taliban meet their commitments, US troops would leave in 14 months.

NavSec Richard Spencer has been ousted from his post after his handling of the case of Navy SEAL Edward “Eddie” Gallagher, who was accused of war crimes. DefSec Mark Esper asked for Mr. Spencer’s resignation late Sunday.

A series of sightings of unknown, highly advanced aircraft intruding on Navy strike groups and other sensitive military formations and facilities has prompted new guidelines to the fleet for reporting sightings of any UFOs.
