Community Forum Will Address Substance Abuse

The “Substance Abuse Is Devastating Our Children” community forum will begin at 6:30 pm Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at Leonardtown High School at 23995 Point Lookout Road in Leonardtown. The event is being presented by the Narcotics Overdose Prevention Education Task Force, and is supported by Walden Behavioral Health and MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital.

Opioid Learning Series Continues in March

Several organizations will present a six-part series of events focusing on the opioid epidemic. Known as the Opioid Learning Series, sponsors for the series include the St. Mary’s County Health Department, St. Mary’s County Library, Walden Behavioral Health, and MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital.
