Noise Advisory: Supersonic Flights Aug. 17
Residents of communities along the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware coastline are advised that potential sonic boom generating events are scheduled to take place Monday, August 17, 2020, between the hours of noon and 2 pm. These events could generate a loud booming noise that might be heard by nearby residents.
Pax Noise Advisory: Controlled Detonation Set Feb. 14
NAS Patuxent River will conduct a single controlled detonation near the water by Fishing Point (just to the north of East Basin) between noon and 1 pm Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018. There is no threat to the public of St. Mary’s or Calvert counties, but the detonation may be heard in the area and across the river on Solomons Island.

Communities surrounding the Outlying Field Webster are advised that low-level tower fly-by testing events are scheduled to take place in the afternoons on Sept. 14 – 15, 2017.
