Harwood, Bates Re-Appointed as CSM Trustees
The College of Southern Maryland Board of Trustees at its June 21 meeting re-appointed Theodore L. Harwood of St. Mary’s County as the board’s chair and Bradley O. Bates of St. Mary’s County as vice chair, effective July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019.
Historic Preservation Group Honors Hospital
MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown has been recognized for its Historic Preservation efforts. The hospital’s “Reflections,” an exhibit of historical artifacts that are related to the hospital, has been honored by the St. Mary’s County Historic Preservation Commission for its work to keep and highlight the 106-year history of the nonprofit medical facility.
MedStar Celebrates a Century of Caring
Five years ago, MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown celebrated a Century of Caring. The hospital has been a part of the Southern Maryland community for 105 years now, and the goal has always been the same — caring for neighbors, friends, and family members.
Di Misa Appointed as CSM Trustee
James Di Misa of Charles County has been appointed by Gov. Larry Hogan to serve the College of Southern Maryland as trustee, effective July 1, 2017 through 2022. Mr. Di Misa will replace Michael L. Middleton, whose term expires June 30, 2017.
