Inaugural Cherry Blossom Festival Draws Hundreds

The inaugural ArtsPark Cherry Blossom Festival proved a week late for the annual rite of cherry blossoms bursting in Lexington Park, but the green lawns and budding spring trees filled the long-gone Lexington Manor neighborhood with adults, children, dogs, Frisbees, and artists of all stripes and types.

Great Mills High School Marching Band to open the 2017 ArtsPark Cherry Blossom Festival and followed by Broadway, Salsa, Gospel, Chorale, and Orchestral emsembles throughout the afternoon. Winner of Lexington Park Alive! mural competition announced at 4 at the Three Notch Theatre.
