On June 14, the St. Mary’s County Health Department, College of Southern Maryland, and the Behavioral Health Action Team, supported by MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital, will provide a free training on providing affirmative behavioral health care for people who identify as LGBTQIA.

MedStar Opens Resident, Physician Housing Complex
When doctors are doing four-week clinical rotations, they work long hours and are often coming from far away and need a place to stay. MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown has opened a housing complex for these new residents and visiting physicians.
Access to Care Team Conducts Survey
The Access to Care Action Team is working with the Tri-County Council for Southern Maryland to explore transportation solutions to increase access to health care locally.
