Dire Recruitment: Navy Hikes Enlistment Age

Dire recruiting realities prompted the Navy to raises its maximum enlistment age from 39 to 41. Under the change, 41-year-olds must report to recruit training by their 42nd birthday and cannot have previously served in the military.

All-Women Crews Honor Women’s History

The C-130s out of Ramstein are working overtime to support the rapid movement of tens of thousands of troops and help transport thousands of tons of supplies to central and Eastern Europe. All three of the planes on Friday’s mission earned an unusual distinction: they flew the first training formation with all-women crew members in the squadron’s history, which goes back to World War II.
