Narducci Thanks Einstein for GPS
Dr. Frank Narducci
Dr. Frank Narducci, NAVAIR Fellow and physicist, spoke to future scientists at this year’s Patuxent Partnership and Southern Maryland Chapter of International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) awards reception honoring middle and high school winners.
Dr. Narducci is a physicist for the Naval Air Systems and well known for his work in the field of atomic physics. He gave a quick explanation of a couple of Albert Einstein’s theories and expressed his gratitude for how some of them turned into the GPS on our phones and everywhere else.
Who knows, he told the students, one of them might do the same.
