Third building
Posted for Congressman Steny Hoyer

Today is National Voter Registration Day, and I’d like to remind you to register to vote before the October 14th deadline if you haven’t done so already. The right to vote is our most fundamental right, and Maryland has taken important steps to ensure that every Marylander can exercise that right. Eligible voters can register to vote and update address information online or complete a voter registration application at one of the following locations:

  • Local board of elections
  • The State Board of Elections
  • The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
  • The Department of Social Services
  • The Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA)
  • Offices on Aging
  • The MTA Paratransit Certification Office
  • All public institutions of higher education
  • Recruitment offices of the U.S. Armed Forces
  • Marriage license offices (including County Clerk’s offices
  • Offices for students with disabilities at all Maryland colleges and universities

I’d also like to remind you that any registered voter can request an absentee ballot. I encourage you to do so if you are unable to make it to the polls on Election Day. Tuesday, October 28th is the last day to request an absentee ballot. Click here for more information on requesting an absentee ballot.

Please remind your family, friends, neighbors, and others in your community about these important deadlines so we can ensure all Marylanders are able to cast their ballot on Election Day. Thank you for allowing me to share this update with you, and please do not hesitate to call my campaign office at (301) 464-5710 if I can be of assistance to you.

With kindest regards, I am,

Sincerely yours,

Steny H. Hoyer
