For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide

The ensemble production “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide” is being performed this month on the La Plata campus of the College of Southern Maryland.

The production is being staged in the Theater in the Fine Arts (FA) Building at 8730 Mitchell Road, La Plata, MD.

Curtain is at 7:30 pm, Feb. 19 and 26; and  8 pm, Feb. 20-21 and Feb. 27-28.

The evening of provocative dance,music, and poetry has been called transformative. The performances riveting. The spellbinding collection of narratives capture the brutal, tender and dramatic lives of contemporary women.

Tickets for “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/When the Rainbow is Enuf” are $15 for adults, $12 for military/seniors/youth.  The production may not be suitable for all ages.
