The Minority Outreach Coalition, supported by MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital, is planning a Community Wellness Day for Feb. 11. The location is set for the Loffler Senior Activity at Chancellor’s Run Park at 21905 Chancellors Run Road in Great Mills.

November is National Hospice and Palliative Care Month and MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital is helping Hospice of St. Mary’s County to urge residents to learn the importance of planning for the care they would want it they were facing a serious or life-limiting illness.

Artist Matus to Show Work at MedStar St. Mary’s
See the beautiful work of artist Bernard “Bernie” Matus at MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown, Maryland, this fall. The artist’s photos and digital designs have been put on display in the atrium of the hospital. If any of the pieces are sold, Mr. Matus will donate a percentage of the proceeds to the hospital foundation’s scholarship fund.

Learn about the team and get a wealth of information at the Breast Health Fair from 2:30 to 5:30 pm Oct. 18, 2016, at the College of Southern Maryland Leonardtown Campus. The fair will be located in the Wellness Center, Building D.
