Japan Keeps Flying Ospreys, Aware of US Restrictions
Japan’s defense chief has no plans to restrict flights of the V-22 Ospreys operated in his country. Defense Minister Minoru Kihara said Japanese and US military officials have closely communicated over technical issues involving the safety of Ospreys.

President Donald Trump is downplaying a series of recent missile tests by North Korea, saying he doesn’t consider the launches a setback amid stalled nuclear talks. South Korea believes they are in protest of the failed summit.
Military on Display at Valiant Shield ’18
US military forces from the US Indo-Pacific Command participated in Valiant Shield 2018 last week near Guam with the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan, 15 surface ships, over 160 aircraft and around 15,000 military personnel.
