Students Show Off Math Skills

The 23rd annual regional MATHCOUNTS competition Feb. 4 challenged more than 230 students from 24 schools throughout Southern Maryland to test their math skills.

Math Circle Meets Dec. 10

The Southern Maryland Math Circle has kicked off its new season at the Lexington Park Library. The next session will be from 10 am to noon Saturday, Dec. 10. The library is at 21677 FDR Blvd. in Lexington Park.

Two St. Mary’s County schools, Esperanza Middle School and Chesapeake Charter School, took the top spots at the 22nd annual regional MATHCOUNTS competition on Feb. 6, 2016.
