The Historic St. Mary’s City Department of Research and Collections uncovered the human remains of a young European man, believed to have been buried in the late 1630s. The discovery might be one of the oldest colonial burials found in Maryland.

Registration is open for the Historic St. Mary’s City Adults Only tour, “Sin and Scandal.” The tour will take place June 23 and 24 with two tours offered each night 5 and 6:30pm. The program is available only for visitors 18 and older.
The new Maryland Dove is scheduled to sail into Historic St. Mary’s City between 10:30 and 10:45 am, weather permitting, on August 27, 2022.
