Celebrate Maryland @ MarylandFest

MarylandFest is taking over Historic St. Mary’s City on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 11am to 5pm, with a day filled with fun, food, and drinks.

MarylandFest is a family-friendly event sponsored by Historic St. Mary’s City Foundation and Patuxent Dental. With live music, local food, beer, wine, and beverage vendors, and activities for all ages, the festival offers something for everyone.

Event Highlights Include:

  • Live Music featuring HydraFX and Annapolis-based 8 Ohms
  • Foggy Bottom Morris Dancers and a traditional Maypole Dance
  • Crab Derby races throughout the day
  • Maryland Pride Dog Parade – guests are invited to dress their dogs in Maryland colors and show their state spirit
  • Maryland Dove Deck Tours
  • Appearance by Miss Maryland 2025 Maria Derisavi (Miss St. Mary’s County)
  • Local Food, Beer, Wine, and Spirits Vendors
  • Craft Vendors
  • Family Activities, inflatables, crafts, and more

Historic St. Mary’s City will host MarylandFest on May 2. The event will be filled with family-friendly activities, live music, and food. Admission is $5 for ages 12 and older; free for children 11 and younger.

Maryland Dove Deck Tours and tours of the outdoor museum will be offered throughout the day.

MarylandFest builds on the success of its inaugural year and continues to grow as a signature spring event at Historic St. Mary’s City—welcoming visitors from across the region to gather, celebrate, and experience Maryland’s past and present.
