Habitat’s New ReStore to Open Sept. 2015

Patuxent Habitat for Humanity

Patuxent Habitat for Humanity plans to open their new ReStore, early September 2015 at its new location in St Mary’s Square on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, MD.

The move has been in the works for several months, the solution to the current location at 21768 South Coral Drive, Lexington Park, MD 20653,  bursting with donated furniture and construction products.  Patuxent Habitat for Humanity sells the building supplies, electronics, and furnishings, even those that arrive brand new, at well below comparable prices.

Contributions of more than $500 qualify to receive up to 50 percent of Tax Credits, according to the Patuxent Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore webpage. The organization will pick up items for donation  (301-737-6273) and deliver purchased items also.

Contributions support the Habitat for Humanity mission is to provide decent, affordable housing to those in need, in St. Mary’s and Calvert  counties.

The current location at 21768 S. Coral Drive, Lexington Park continues to operate Tuesday – Saturday 10 – 5. Store hours are expected to remain the same when the new store opens. Watch for news of the grand opening date.
