The Maryland Department of Natural Resources has recognized three state residents for catching 10 different species of trophy-size fish to reach the FishMaryland Master Angler milestone.

A Harford County teen has earned a Master Angler Milestone Award under the Maryland Department of Natural Resources’ FishMaryland program. He is the 20th Master Angler since the program began in 2019.

The US Navy says it has surpassed its recruiting goals for fiscal 2024, which ended Oct. 1. This comes after the service had failed to meet its accession targets for the first time ever last year. At one point, officials had projected missing recruiting targets by roughly 6,700 for FY24.
