PRMI’s Robbie Loker Opens Day of Caring ’16

Robbie Loker

Robbie Loker, reverse mortgage specialist with Primary Residential Mortgage Inc., kicked off the 2016 United Way of St. Mary’s County Day of Caring last week.

Ms. Loker is this year’s honorary campaign chairwoman for the Day of Caring. She is a longtime active member of the St. Mary’s County community and advocate for social services to all community members in need. Her business and volunteer efforts have been profiled for the Lex Leader before.

Ms. Loker worked for more than 25 years in Maryland state government before becoming a reverse mortgage expert at PRMI. Most of these years she spent working in social services.  Throughout her life, she has been a humanitarian, finding ways in Southern Maryland to help her neighbors through community efforts.  Chairing the Day of Caring has been a longtime goal for her, and she is excited to see that goal come to fruition.

Just as in any good marriage, none of Ms. Loker’s charities lost any of her commitment when she joined PRMI, rather, the team at PRMI incorporated her efforts into their own.

PRMI of California, MD, teams up for one another and a huge array of charities and community efforts in St. Mary’s County and Southern Maryland. Just a few days before this year’s United Way of St. Mary’s County Day of Caring they were active participants and leaders in the Dragon Boat Races in support of Southern Maryland Community Resources.

The annual United Way Day of Caring is a day when businesses all over St. Mary’s County come together to offer the manpower needed to do a number of projects for nonprofits all over the county. Businesses allow their employees to spend the day working on these indoor and outdoor projects, including everything from painting rooms to raking leaves and landscaping.
