Mark’s Automotive Delivers Rhythm to Pride in Park Parade

Mark’s Automotive is sponsoring and chauffeuring the Spring Ridge Middle School Rhythm Club to the Lexington Park Parade Saturday, May 4th.

The Rhythm Club is known county-wide for its heart pounding drumming, beat boxing, rapping and singing. Twenty-four Rhythm Club students will perform in this year’s parade honoring the 70th anniversary of the commissioning of the Naval Air Station Patuxent River.

Mark’s Automotive will chauffeur the students and their director Bonnie Beavan as they perform throughout the parade.

The Pride in the Park Parade sponsored by the Lexington Park Business and Community Association will be held on Saturday, May 4th. The parade will start at 10:00 a.m. leaving from the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department and traveling on South Shangri-La and South Essex Drives towards Great Mills Road. The parade will follow Great Mills Road east to the alley way between Endless Summer Tanning and Raley’s Home Furnishings where the parade will end. These roads will be closed to vehicular traffic for the duration of the parade. Spectators young and old are encouraged to line the route and enjoy the parade.
