Piney Point Program Is for the Birds

On July 11, learn how to help backyard birds and build a feeder at the Piney Point Lighthouse Museum.
Community members are invited to enjoy educational activities at the St. Clement’s Island Museum and Piney Point Lighthouse Museum on the second Saturday of each month throughout the year.
These activities encourage visitors to explore nature and the outdoors through curiosity and play.
Modeled loosely after “Forest School” learning styles popular in Denmark and Sweden, this series encourages discovery of nature through hands-on, tactile, “no right or wrong way to play” experiences. Participants of all ages are welcome.
Themed activities will be held on the following dates and times. Price to participate is included in regular museum admission.
