Halt the Contest! Step Forward Bart M.
Perhaps feeling a tad guilty regarding the cheating green umbrellas of a few editions ago [see if you can ID them] JefClarkArt offered up a closer-to-home site to contest participants this past weekend, and the guesses continue to pour in.
But the prize was quickly claimed.
Not many hours after Friday’s posting of the 16th edition of Where in the World Is That? photo contest in The Lex Leader, a winner was declared! Loyal reader Bart M correctly tagged the photograph’s subject as the cupola of the Cedar Point Lighthouse found on the grounds of the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum in Lexington Park. Bart clearly has keen observation skills as most respondents thought they were seeing a scene from the Calvert Marine Museum or the Piney Point Lighthouse. Congrats, Bart, who is eligible for a prize from the JefClarkArt archives! And we recognize reader Linda who was the only other reader among some 40 respondents to correctly tag the posting.
Bart now needs to send an e-mail to [email protected] containing his USPS mailing address and a prize will soon be on its way. Way to go, Bart.
