Jobs Report: Payrolls Up, Jobless Rate Down
The September 2024 jobs report shows that 254,000 jobs were added to the American economy last month. Rep. Steny H. Hoyer said the report “testifies to our economy’s lasting vigor.”
Hoyer: Job Market Growing at ‘Steady Clip’
The August 2024 Bureau of Labor Statistics’ jobs report brought encouraging news. “Our economy is expanding, costs are coming down, wages are going up, and the job market is growing at a steady clip,” Rep. Steny H. Hoyer said.
