VEX Robotics Tourney Seeks Volunteer
The College of Southern Maryland will host VEX Robotics Tournaments in January 2024 at the La Plata campus. The Patuxent Partnership, a robotics supporter, is helping to publicize the event. Volunteers are needed.
Behind the Scenes at NSF Indian Head
The Leadership Southern Maryland Executive Program went behind the gate of Naval Support Facility Indian Head last month as part of its study of US Navy activities in Southern Maryland to support America’s national defense and the region’s economy and culture.

SMR Flight Academy Program Set for 2024-25
St. Mary’s Ryken High School has announced an upcoming Flight Academy program beginning in the 2024-25 school year. The Patuxent Partnership donated 24 flight simulators to the school in May 2022.
UAS Center Offering Summer Internships
The University of Maryland UAS Research and Operations Center is offering 2024 summer internships. The Patuxent Partnership reminds those interested that the application process has started for this full-time, paid program.
