Science Fairs Seek Volunteers & Supporters

Posted for The Patuxent Partnership

Science fairs are kicking off NOW in Southern Maryland. All three counties need your help!

The first of the science fairs, St. Mary’s County Science and Engineering Fair, is scheduled Feb. 7, 2015 to be held at Great Mills High School in Lexington Park, MD. But the deadline for submitting advertising materials is Monday, Jan. 26, 2015. Your support provides awards, plaques, certificates and more!

There are various ways for organizations to partner with the Fair, including sponsoring awards and scholarships, various advertising opportunities and volunteering as board members, judges and project mentors.

The St. Mary’s County Science and Engineering Fair is open to students in public and non-public schools and also to home-schooled students of St. Mary’s County. The St. Mary’s-Science and Engineering Fair website contains links to General Information, Contributor Forms, Judging Information and much more.

Please consider supporting the 2015 St. Mary’s County Science and Engineering Fair. Contact [email protected] for additional information.

The Calvert County Science and Engineering Expo will be held Feb. 28, 2015 at Calvert High School. The Calvert County Science and Engineering Expo Coordinating Committee is looking for organizations to participate as volunteers and judges.
