Sandy Shows Her Backside, Sending SoMD a Final Flood

Hurricane Sandy’s winds remained southwesterly Tuesday across Southern Maryland while the mammoth storm’s southerlies held at the mouth of Chesapeake Bay. The combination delivered the highest tide of the storm as the tide rose across St. George Island, Maryland.
