The annual Farmers Feeding St. Mary’s program will offer farm fresh produce free to the community. There will be two food distribution locations in Lexington Park for the program.

The Piney Point Lighthouse Museum invites children ages 7 to 12 to discover local history and the outdoors through fun, hands-on activities at the Junior Historian Program. The program runs for four days per session, with three hours of activities each day.
June 22-26 marked the inaugural edition of the St. Mary’s College of Maryland Space STEM Camp, as a continuation of the free STEM Camp series for high school students from the tri-county region, sponsored by The Patuxent Partnership.

The University of Maryland UAS Test Site has become the catalyst of a burgeoning technology and manufacturing campus at the St. Mary’s County Regional Airport. Some of the new businesses were spotlighted at a recent DED tour.
