Contracts Solicited:

Pilot Parachute – The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake Parachute Packing Facility intends to competitively procure on a Firm Fixed Price Basis a quantity of 2,252 {each} with optional quantities of 140 {each} pilot parachutes.

Rip Cord Assemblies – The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake Parachute Packing Facility intends to competitively procure on a Firm Fixed Price Basis a quantity of 2,252 {each} with optional quantities of 140 {each} rip cord assemblies.

USSR Kits – The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a sole-source firm fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-11-G-0001 with The Boeing Company (Boeing) of St. Louis, Missouri 63166 for the procurement of twenty five (25) USSR kits developed under ECP 6318R1 for the Royal Australian Air Force through the Foreign Military Sales Program.

NAVWAR Kits – The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a sole-source firm fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-11-G-0001 with The Boeing Company (Boeing) of St. Louis, Missouri 63166 for the procurement of twenty five (25) NAVWAR kits developed under ECP 6315R1 for the Royal Australian Air Force through the Foreign Military Sales Program.

Spectrum-9100 SRA Configuration Tester – The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division intends to procure on a sole source basis from Teradyne, Inc the following: one (1) depot Shop Replaceable Assembly (SRA) integrated test package to include: Teradyne Spectrum 9100 Depot SRA Test System, associated Applications Development Environment (ADE), services to re-host 13 existing weapon system SRA Test Programs for a legacy tester to the S9100 test system.

Acceleration Services – The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on a full and open competition basis Acceleration Testing Services.

Airborne Systems Training and Support Aircraft – Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) located in Patuxent River, MD intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source contract to furnish, operate, and maintain an Airborne System Training and Research Support (ASTARS) Saab 340A aircraft.

EDECU/DAS Plugs – The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to request a proposal and negotiate on a sole-source basis with Goodrich Corporation, P. O. Box 330651, Charter Oak Boulevard, West Hartford, CT 06133-0651 for the procurement of hardware to retrofit the MH-60R/S aircraft with the new Electronic Digital Engine Control Unit (EDECU) and a Discrete Application Selection (DAS) Plug.

Basic Ordering Agreement for VTUAV Program – The Naval Air Systems Command intends to modify Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-10-G-0003 on a sole source basis to place a class of orders for the duration of two years with Northrop Grumman Corporation, San Diego, CA in support of the Fire Scout Vertical Take-off and Landing Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (VTUAV) Program.

MQ-8B Fire Scout Hot Weather Modification Kits – The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Northrop Grumman of Rancho Bernardo, CA, for the acquisition of recurring and non-recurring engineering to produce twenty-two (22) Hot Weather Modification kits, which are to be installed onto Vertical Takeoff and Landing Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (VTUAV) MQ-8B Fire Scout air vehicles.

Contracts Awarded:

Neany, Inc., Hollywood, Md., is being awarded a $11,960,102 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N68335-11-C-0261) to provide training of Persistent Ground Surveillance System operators and deployment services in support of PGSS Phase III B.  Work will be performed in various forward deployed operating bases located in Afghanistan (90 percent), Hollywood, Md. (5 percent), and Yuma, Ariz. (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in February 2012.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity.

F/A-18 & EA-18G Aircraft Support Services – The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) has awarded a cost plus fixed fee, sole source contract for a five year ordering period to The Boeing Company to procure maintenance, manufacturing of parts, instrumentation and engineering support for all models of the F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft.
