Grapevine Gets a Stop on the Antique Trail

If you’re setting out to travel the Southern Maryland Antique Trial, there is no better place to start than Grapevine Collectables in Lexington Park, Maryland.
Stop by The Grapevine to pick up your free Antique Trail map and get the first of 15 stamps from local antique vendors. Visit all 15 stores and collect all 15 stamps to get a free Valuable Treasure Gift at Golden Oak Auctions in Hughesville. All completed and returned forms will be entered in a year end drawing for a large prize.
Seafood and a Sale
The Grapevine is collaborating with Kevin’s Corner Kafe in Leonardtown for an Easter Seafood Tasting and Sidewalk Sale March 23. Stop by The Grapevine starting late morning to sample Kevin Thompson’s food and browse through a variety of antiques and collectables. Participate in the Easter Egg Hunt for a chance to win a Grapevine gift certificate!
Poker Run to Fund Vacations for Vets
On Saturday, April 20, the Vacation for Vets non-profit group will be hosting a “Buy Local” Poker Run fundraiser. Cars, trucks and bikes are all welcome. The registration fee is $20 per driver or rider and $10 more for each additional rider/player. The cost includes a T-shirt, lunch and door prizes. The top hand wins $200; second best wins $100; and the lowest hand gets a registration fee refund.
Registration starts at 9 a.m. The ride starts at 10 a.m. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m.
The route will start at Lenny’s Restaurant in California, Maryland and stop at several businesses (including Dyson Building Center) before ending at The Grapevine. Players will get door prizes for making purchases at these businesses.
Southern Maryland Vacations for Vets is a non-profit organization that offers wounded service members a break from daily hospital visits and treatment centers.
