Capt. Stephen Schmeiser, outgoing commander of Naval Air Station Patuxent River, says Naval Air Station Patuxent River’s celebration of the Centennial of Naval Aviation is the  collective highlight of his last year and a half commanding the base.

Schmeiser will hand over command of the base to Capt. Ted Mills next week. On Monday, he sat down with local reporters to answer questions about his career, retirement, accomplishments and time at Pax River. This is the fifth and final video taken from that interview.
