The Navy Midshipmen and Army Black Knights honor the 250th anniversary of the US military on uniforms designed for the 126th annual Army-Navy Game. Veteran Life says you can call them uniforms if you want, but honestly, they’re closer to walking history lessons. And this year’s designs carry major weight, both branches also celebrate their 250th as well. The 2025 Army-Navy game will be played at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on Dec. 13. Kickoff is set for 3pm ET on CBS.

President Donald Trump confirmed on Monday his plans for a new executive order focused on artificial intelligence development through “one rule” to counter differing state regulations, reports Route Fifty. The NDAA, which still must be approved separately by both the House and Senate, drastically reduces funding of arms purchases for Ukraine, reports TWZ. And also sets up a new joint program with Taiwan to field more drone and counter-drone technologies, reports DefenseScoop. But it commits only a fraction of the funding necessary for the Navy’s F/A-XX program, reports Defense One, while fully backing the development of the Air Force’s F-47 fighter, roughly $2.6 billion for the Air Force’s F-47 program and $74 million to develop the Navy’s unnamed sixth-generation fighter jet.

The bill does not include either a House or Senate version of the Right to Repair Act that would require defense contractors to provide technical data necessary for military personnel to repair equipment in the field, reports Stars and Stripes.

A bipartisan provision protecting collective bargaining rights for DoD’s civilian workers was stripped out of the NDAA, after Senate Republicans balked at the prospect of clashing with Trump’s efforts to excise unions from most federal agencies. Defense One also reports, a provision was added requiring the defense secretary to notify Congress and provide a reason removing a top JAG’s dismissal.  Nearly a year ago, DefSec Pete Hegseth purged the top judge advocates general of the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

The NDAA also demands that the Pentagon turn over unedited video of the Sept. 2 strike on an alleged drug boat that killed two survivors, as well as the orders authorizing the attacks, reports Military.com.
