UAS and Acquisition Briefings Scheduled in June

The Patuxent Partnership will co-sponsor with the St. Mary’s County Chamber of Commerce the next Brown Bag Briefing on “Civil/Commercial UAS; Creating Opportunities,”  June 11, 2015 from 12:15 – 1:30 pm at the Lexington Park Library, Meeting Rooms A & B, Lexington Park, MD 20653.

Leading the briefing will be Mr. Matt Scassero, Director, University of Maryland Unmanned Aircraft Systems Test Site; Associate Director for Maryland, Mid-Atlantic Aviation Partnership.

A briefing on “How to Improve the Acquisition & Cost Estimating Process” is scheduled for June 16, 2015, from 7:30  – 9:30 am, at the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center, California, MD 20619. Dr. Daniel A. Nussbaum, Visiting Professor, Naval Postgraduate School will present the briefing.
