Taylor to Speak at ITEA Luncheon

The Southern Maryland chapter of the International Test and Evaluation Association (ITEA) will hold a luncheon and general chapter meeting Tuesday, March 8, at Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

Lunch will begin at 11 am followed by a meeting at 11:30 am. The cost is $15 for ITEA members and $20 for nonmembers.

The speaker will be Leslie Taylor of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division and NAVAIR deputy assistant commander for test and evaluation.

In April 2015, Ms. Taylor was appointed as executive director for NAWCAD, which is responsible for ensuring that business and financial objectives are met and that the overall mission is executed in a safe and efficient manner. In her role as deputy assistant commander for T&E for the Naval Air Systems Command, Ms. Taylor is responsible for the appropriate implementation of policy and guidance of T&E matters emanating from the NAVAIR offices of commander, vice commander, and deputy commander in addition to the successful execution of T&E throughout NAVAIR.

She has served as executive director of integration and interoperability and Integrated Warfighting Capability Enterprise Team Lead at NAVAIR. She led all NAVAIR I&I/IWC ET initiatives and functions, ensuring that
integration and interoperability practices and policies were responsive to all naval equities.

The event will be held at the River’s Edge Conference Center at 46870 Tate Road in Building 2815 at Patuxent River NAS.
