Tasting the WARMth

Representatives from the 22 churches assisting with this season of the Wrapping Arms ‘Round Many (WARM) homeless sheltering ministry gathered at Lexington Park United Methodist Church this evening to reflect on their efforts of the last two years and sample a some authentic church cooking. The program plans to expand this year, adding more churches and more clients. WARM, along with Leah’s House, St. Mary’s Caring, Three Oaks Center and Walden, will also be holding a series of fundraisers Nov. 13-19 known as Homelessness and Hunger Awareness Week.
