Operations at Great Mills Pool to End April 30
After 23 years of aquatics fun at the Great Mills swimming pool, the St. Mary’s County Department of Recreation & Parks will conclude operations at the facility April 30. The facility is expected to reopen in the summer as an outdoor pool under the management of the St. Mary’s County Family YMCA.
Federal Funding for YMCA in St. Mary’s
Several Maryland Fifth District projects–including the YMCA under construction on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park–received federal funding this month.
YMCA Report Presented to Commissioners
The YMCA Campaign Planning Study Report was recently presented to the St. Mary’s County commissioners in May.
