Young Federal Workers Aren’t Staying
Young federal workers are leaving the federal government at a rate of 9% — half again the overall 6.1% attrition rate. The Veterans Administration has the highest attrition rates among government agencies at 7.1%, followed by the Army, Air Force, and Treasury.
Evacuations Continue in Kabul
Flights out of Kabul resumed after military corralled crowds at the airport hoping to board a C-17 Globemaster out of the country. It’s estimated the 640 Afghans evacuated on one of the C-17s is the among the largest number of passengers ever flown in the three decades the cargo plane has been in use.
