New Bill Would Push Using Invasive Catfish in Pet Food
Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (D-MD) has joined other legislators to introduce a bipartisan bill that would facilitate using the invasive blue catfish in pet food.
DNR Offers Grants for Invasive Fish Removal
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is accepting applications for invasive fish control grants of up to $5,000. The grant program seeks to support ways to remove invasive fish, particularly blue catfish and Northern snakeheads, from Maryland waters.
