Spring Ahead Sunday 2 a.m.

Hard to believe it’s already time to Spring your clocks ahead one hour, most likely before you turn in Saturday night.time change

Daylight Saving Time officially begins at 2 a.m. Sunday, March 9.

Setting your clock one hour ahead does cost you an hour of sleep, if you want to look at it that way; but it also is going to extend the evening Sunday night.

While you are setting the time on your clocks, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission notes that it is also a great time to change the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.  CPSC recommends the batteries be replaced annually and the alarms be tested every month.
