Sponsors Sought for Pax River Museum Event

The Patuxent River Naval Air Museum will celebrate the completion of a new building with a dinner on Nov. 6, 2015, and the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum Association has opened the opportunity for sponsorships.

The pre-opening event in the newly completed building will raise money for the exhibits and opening needs. Sponsorships are being sought for the one-time event, and there are several levels available.

Representatives from the offices of state officials, the Administrator of NASA, and the Commander of the Naval Air Systems Command.

At the $10,000 Ace Level, sponsors will receive a reserved table with 10 seats, a private reception with the special guests, four bottles of table wine, signage and recognition in the program. The private reception will include hors d’eourves and beverages and time to meet with the special guests from the governor’s office, NASA, and NAVAIR.

At the $5,000 Top Gun Level, sponsors will receive a reserved table with 10 seats, four bottles of table wine, signage and recognition in the program.

At the $3,000 Sierra Hotel Level, sponsors will receive a reserved table of eight seats, three bottles of table wine, and signage and recognition in the program.

At the $1,000 Maverick Level, sponsors will receive two dinner tickets and recognition in the program.

At the $500 Iceman Level, sponsors will receive recognition in the program.

The night of the event, there will be a special presentation for LCDR Harry Errington, USN (Ret). The menu includes a choice of entrée from Pork Tenderloin in a Brandy Cream Sauce, Chicken Chesapeake with Lump Crab, and Vegan Portobello Stack, plus Apple Caramel Pie for dessert.

Attire is semi-formal. Advance registration is required by RSVP. Visit www.paxpartnership.org. Tickets are $175 for an individual and $300 for a couple.
