Pax Museum’s Film on the Flightline

Join the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum for an evening under the stars with a showing of “Top Gun Maverick” at 7pm August 31.
Experience Maverick’s high-flying missions against the stunning backdrop of Naval Air Station Patuxent River. The special event combines the thrill of aviation with the magic of cinema, promising an unforgettable night celebrating courage, camaraderie, and the legacy of Top Gun. Visitors will also have the chance to hear first-hand accounts of real FA-18 pilots and crew and those behind the scenes at Pax River.
Don’t miss the chance to watch Maverick soar in this unique outdoor screening at the heart of naval aviation history.
Doors open at 7pm, and guests are welcome to bring blankets and chairs. The panel discussion will begin at 7:30pm, and the film will start at dusk. Concession will be sold during the event.
Advance ticket prices: free for museum members, adult (18 and older) $20, children (11-17) $10, children (10 and younger) free, and college with valid student ID $17.
At the door prices: free for museum members, adult (18 and older) $25, children (11-17) $15, children (10 and younger) free, and college with valid student ID $20.
In the event of inclement weather, the ticket buyer may claim the purchase as a tax-deductible donation to the museum. No refunds will be issued.
