Park Rock Festival Celebrates Tenth Year
The year 2012 marks the 10th year for Park Rock Festival! The 10-year anniversary celebration features an exciting lineup of local, regional, and national bands. The event is held in conjunction with St. Mary’s County Parks and Recreation, St. Mary’s County Commissioners, and Maryland State Arts Council.
PRF2012 will be held at Chancellors Run Regional Park on September 1 & 2, 2012.
PRF2012 brings together the Power Jam Music Alliance bands in one huge outdoor community event. The PJMA members are musicians who share their musical talent to better the community welfare. The band member base extends across the US and Canada. These musicians play everything – rock, celtic, jazz,and country to alternative, swing and rap.
This year, the event features:
- 4 Venues for music (two have two stages)
- 10 – 15 bands per stage
- Non-stop music
- 2 Food Courts
- Multiple Market Places
- Community Area
- Carnival
