A Southern Maryland tradition continues in 2026. The River Concert Series and the appearances of the Chesapeake Orchestra open Friday, June 19, in St. Mary’s City.

The Patuxent Partnership again brings the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium Maryland Regional Competition to St. Mary’s College of Maryland, March 28, 2020. Regional participants will present their original research and experimentation in the sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics at the symposium. Regional winners progress to the National Symposium in Norfolk, VA, in April.
There are few more perfect spaces to learn to fly than from St. Mary’s County Regional Airport, according to Piedmont Flight Center student Megan Deaton, let alone the views of the Chesapeake Bay.
