The Dinner & A Cruise Series at St. Clement’s Island Museum this year features a new water taxi, expanded routes, and new cruise experiences, offering visitors opportunities to explore the Potomac River while enjoying themed programs, dining, and scenic views.
The Piney Point Lighthouse Museum invites children ages 7 to 12 to discover local history and the outdoors through fun, hands-on activities at the Junior Historian Program. The program runs for four days per session, with three hours of activities each day.

District 29B Del. Brian Crosby is urging the St. Mary’s County Board of Elections to provide an early voting center and more ballot drop-off locations in the southern part of the county.
Many residents in the north of St. Mary’s County assumed Pax River was a temporary, war-time arrangement, but Jack Daugherty, a Marine pilot stationed at the Pax at the end of the war, and other ex-Navy personnel thought otherwise, and decided to stay.
Three St. Mary’s County women — Dr. Janice Walthour, Marcia Greenberg, and Wrenn Heisler — were featured in the Parade of 100 Maryland Sheroes, part of the Maryland Commission for Women’s Centennial Summit commemorating the passage of the 19th Amendment giving women in this country the right to vote.
