NDTA Foundation Accepting Scholarship Applications

The NDTA Foundation is accepting scholarship applications for the 2025-2026 academic year. Applications may be submitted through April 15. The Patuxent Partnership is helping to publicize the scholarship for programs of transportation education, science, research, and development.
Applications may be sent by email to [email protected] for its four academic scholarship programs for members and their children:
- Program A – for currently enrolled college students
- Program B – for soon-to-be high school graduates accepted at an accredited institution
- Program C – for currently enrolled, distance learning college students
- Program D – The Denny Edwards Graduate Scholarship – for graduate (master’s degree) students
The National Defense Transportation Association Foundation offers all scholarship winners an opportunity to join its Industry Connect Program. The ICP links interested students with an industry mentor to help them bridge to the future. More information can be found here.
NDTA is excited about the education and development of the nation’s future logistics and transportation leaders. Providing scholarships and the ICP helps the organization promote learning and professional development.

Since its founding, one of the missions of NDTA has been “to support, conduct and assist programs of transportation education, science, research, and development, among private, industrial, educational and governmental agencies …” These programs required funding, and in 1961, the association established the NDTA Foundation as a separate financial entity to raise and provide the funds needed to accomplish the mission.
