On the heels of the re-activation of the building contract, George Hurlburt, a member of the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum, took the opportunity of a PaxPartnership and ANA panel to announce the good news and give a shout-out to the audience about the museum’s membership drive.

The museum is a frequent host of professional development, social, educational and fundraising events. It is located immediately north of NAS:Pax River’s Gate 1 on northbound Route 235 making it an excellent central location for military and industry briefings,  plus good public access as well.

Standing up this year to an independent financial classification allows the museum to host more events in the future, even to develop the facility as an income-producing venue. And when the new building is completed, the venue will be even more striking than the already stunning exhibits that fill the current facility.

At the 20th briefing at the museum to be co-sponsored by The Patuxent Partnership and the Association of Naval Aviation’s Squadron #18, Mr. Hurlburt encouraged the military and industry attendees to join the museum. The briefing, “International Programs: Building Coalition Forces,” drew a supportive audience for Mr. Hurlburt’s encouragement that each of them take a membership form home and send it in with $35 to keep the progress moving forward.

A copy of that form appears beneath the video below.
