Morgan Talks Museum, FDR, Drones and Defense Cuts

Commissioner Todd Morgan, who represents the Lexington Park region of St. Mary’s County, recently went on St. Mary’s County’s government access channel to talk about issues affecting the Eighth District. He said that construction of the new the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum is still waiting on state approval. The FDR Boulevard extension between Great Mills Road and Shangri-La Drive has been delayed until MetCom can replace a sewer main, he said. He called the Federal Aviation Administration competition for unmanned aircraft testing sites “huge for us.” And he declared the defense budget outlook to be “clear as mud.”
